Over the years it continued to deteriorate until it was included in the urban monument protection program in 2015. Ideas for the renovation were then gathered together with the residents. In the summer of 2018, the place was reopened with a large water play area, sunbathing area and playground equipment.
The smaller of the two water play areas is wonderfully suitable for younger children.
There are many shady trees, wide sun beds and many benches. The large sunbathing lawn is right next to the water play area, making it easy to keep an eye on the children.
As part of the renovation, a great balancing course made of wood, metal and rope elements was created.
