Britzer Garten

According to operator Grün Berlin GmbH, the Britzer Garten in the south of the city is the “most beautiful park in Berlin”. It is also a real children’s paradise in all seasons. There is so much space, various playgrounds, a lake landscape, a model boat harbor, small forests, flower meadows, picnic areas, a river landscape with Kneipp cure station and much more.

The big playscape is just great for children of all ages. The kids can try out and let off steam here, from buildings made of mud to a climbing net world to a water playground and a wavy skating track. There are lawns everywhere and space to rest.

One of our favorite places in the park is the water playground near the “Blütenachse” entrance. A huge rocky landscape was built here, where you can splash around and play. However, we feel that the water is relatively cool, especially for small children, even in high summer.

The days always fly by. Hours can pass just by discovering the carp, herons, ducks, coots and turtles! Then there is the play landscape in the clay village, the sheep, cattle and goats in the animal enclosures (no petting zoo!), The witch garden, the park railway and much more.
