Waldmuseum (Grunewald)

The Forest Museum, located in the eastern Grunewald on the site of a former tree nursery, was established to make the special features of the forest tangible.

In the interior and exterior areas of the interactively designed museum knowledge about the forest is conveyed. Among other things, visitors will find display boards, knowledge games, touch boxes and exhibits where elements of the forest can be recognised by means of smells and sounds. The identification of tree species is also taught in an interactive way.

In the forest garden there are exciting adventure and forest play stations.

On special occasions (e.g. the Long Night of the Museums) the Forest Museum also organises theme-specific events.
