The sunny playground on Lohmühleninsel particularly scores due to the large amount of sand and is therefore perfectly suited for children who like to dig and use sand toys. 

A part of the playground has been converted into a water playground whose pump can be easily operated even by very small children. The area is lined with large insect sculptures that can be climbed.

Apart from that there is a climbing net, a ropeway, a basket swing, spring bouncers and several balancing elements. For the small breaks in between there are round benches and wooden platforms in the shade.

Along the Lohmühleninsel there are also other small play and sports areas such as climbing walls, a soccer field, swings, a sandpit with sun beds and a hilly track for skating, scooter and cycling.
